MUD GAS SEPARATORS - MGS

THE RSSTRIFIO-30/40/50 Mud Gas Separators are self contained which allows for easy mobilization. It is ideal for use where drilling is likely to encounter large volumes of gas, sour gas or when an operator is drilling with an under-balanced mud column. The MUD GAS SEPARATOR is primarily used to separate and safely vent from the active mud system large pockets of free gas that may include toxic gases such as hydrogen sulphide.

  30" diameter by 108" seam to seam vessel equipped with internal baffles, 3" mud  inlet, 8" mud outlet with "J" tube design

  Manages approximately 650 GPM, 7.6 MMSCF/Day, and 22,286 BBL/Day. Unit is designed to mount on top of the tank and secured

    into position.   This allows the unit to be lowered to the bottom of the mud tank for transportation.

Note:

MGS can be manufactured in accordance with the following - ASME Section VIII, Division I  

for Lethal Service and NACE - MR0175 for H2S Service, PED and NORSOK. Maximum operating pressure

Is 25psi at 350 deg F Minimum operating temperature is-58 deg F.
